My thoughts on tithing and giving money to the local church

As a young man I was taught by the churches that tithing was a New Testament command and that if I didn’t tithe I was robbing God and withholding blessings on my life. Some years ago, as I began to better understand the New Covenant, I realized that tithing has no place in the New Covenant and that it is only found in the Old Covenant and even before the Old Covenant, but it is not a command in the New Covenant. The New Covenant actually has a higher and more powerful way of giving and how to give. I talk about this topic in the video below.

 

Pastor/Teacher dominated churches

The video below expresses some of my thoughts regarding most churches around the world that are pastor/teacher dominated. There is a great need for true apostolic and prophetic ministry to complement the ministry of the pastor and teacher. If the body of Christ is going to be fully matured into the image of Jesus, just having pastoral and teaching ministry will not complete the job. The saints also need the equipping and input of true apostles and prophets. Listen to the video below discussing this topic.

¹⁴I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
